Students were previously assigned to research one ecosystem of the JNC. There were four ecosystems under consideration: The Woodlands, The Wetlands, The Pond, and The Meadow. Through the use of a template slideshow with relevant questions for each ecosystem, the students researched the answers and made the slideshow their own by adding their own creativity and formatting.
Recently the project was redirected to research about biodiversity to understand the global impact of demolishing the JNC. Students completed a Powerpoint template to help them discover the connection between the potential of their Nature Center being paved over and its effect on the Hatboro-Horsham community.
